Craft beer and brewpubs are on the rise as people discover different types of beer and move away from the mass-produced stuff. Fortunately, in and around Woodbridge there are some great breweries in Woodbridge, VA where you can sample a wide variety of beer. Here are four of the best.
Brew Republic Bierwerks
Located in Potomac Town Place, Woodbridge, the Brew Republic tap room offers a stylish, modern atmosphere and a warm welcome. While you sample the beer choices, you can play board games or join in with the regular events, such as trivia nights, beer and food pairings, radio bingo, flight nights, growler hours, and more.
With eight core brews, many seasonally rotated beers, and limited-edition offerings, there is always a great selection. There are six different styles on tap at any one time which are served in 4- or 12-ounce glasses. Along with your beer, Brew Republic has an extensive menu with snacks, appetizers, and small-plate meals to satisfy your appetite.
Water’s End Brewery
Water’s End Brewery, located in Dillingham Square, Lake Ridge, is simply furnished and has a cool vibe. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are always happy to run through the beer options for you. The owners are also servers, so the standard of service is high. You can even sign up for a brew club membership which gets you some merchandise, benefits, and discounts.
The beer varieties include golden ale, IPA, stout, red ales, Belgian style, and ginger flavored ale. Flights of beer are served in 6-ounce glasses. Water’s End offers some snacks, but you are welcome to take your own food or order delivery from one of the local restaurants.
Forge Brew Works
The Forge Brew Works taproom is set up in a unit in an industrial park in Lorton. It features long tables, barrels with table tops, and standing and sitting space at the bar. The lack of decor is made up for by the owners and staff who provide friendly and helpful service. The regular live music creates a great atmosphere.
The Forge has 12 brews, most of which are always available on tap. They are not overloaded with IPAs like some breweries, and German and Belgian style beers are prominent. The flagship beer is Blonde Conviction which is an easy-drinking Belgian ale. There is no kitchen so you can order food from the menus provided by local restaurants.
Fair Winds Brewing Company
Another industrial unit in Lorton houses the Fair Winds taproom. The place is simply decorated and there is plenty of seating. When the weather permits, there is an outdoor seating area. You can play board games and there is regular live music.
Fair Winds brews around 27 different beers and there are usually 12 available on tap. When you get hungry, a rotating variety of food trucks are usually on site. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
These Woodbridge area breweries feature very different atmospheres but, most importantly, an awesome selection of beers for you to enjoy with your friends.

The Stingray can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds, while the standard Brembo brakes provide you with confident stopping power. To assist the handling, active handling stability control with traction control helps to keep you in control.
The Cockpit
Slip into the perforated leather front GT bucket seats, which on the 2LT and 3LT are heated and ventilated, and use the eight-way power adjustment to get the perfect position for your driving pleasure. The cockpit is driver-oriented with a flowing design featuring stylish lightweight carbon-fiber and aluminum trim.
In front of you is the flat-bottomed, leather-bound steering wheel with cruise, audio, and hands-free calling controls. The instrument cluster has an 8-inch LCD color display with three customizable themes that providing information such as tire temperature, G-force, and more.
2LT and 3LT models have an adjustable color head-up display projected onto the windshield. The 3LT also features a performance data recorder which logs real-time data and video of your driving onto an SD card for you to analyze. Standard drive mode select optimizes the car’s performance with Weather, Eco, Tour, Sport, and Track modes.
Technology
The Chevrolet infotainment system keeps you connected and features an 8-inch touch screen, smartphone integration, Wi-Fi hotspot, voice activation, Bluetooth and USB ports. The 1LT has a nine-speaker Bose audio system with HD radio, while 2LT and 3LT offer a 10 speaker Bose system with subwoofer. 3LT adds a navigation system.

4 of Chevy’s Coolest Muscle Cars

Chevrolet has earned a reputation for designing some of the best muscle cars throughout history. Check out a few of the coolest muscle cars Chevy has ever made.
Chevrolet Nova
The Chevrolet Nova was first introduced in 1962 and was produced for five generations from 1962 until 1979, and then again from 1985 until 1988. The first generation Chevy Nova was a compact-sized car that first featured an inline-four engine or a straight-six engine. Drivers could not opt for a V-8 engine until 1964. By 1968, Chevrolet had redesigned the Nova to better accommodate a larger and more powerful engine.
By the fifth generation of the Chevy Nova, which was produced between 1985 and 1988, it was equipped with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with a three-, four-, or five-speed automatic transmission. Some models of the Chevy Nova could also be purchased as a convertible, which set it apart from other muscle cars of its time. It often received reviews as being a sensible, straightforward, and affordable vehicle.
Chevrolet Chevelle
Many would consider the Chevrolet Chevelle the Chevrolet Camaro of its time. The Chevelle was first introduced to the public in 1964 and was Chevrolet’s first big step into the muscle car industry. Although the Chevelle did not immediately gain public approval, Chevrolet made necessary changes and it became one of the best-selling muscle cars in 1970.
The 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle featured a V-8 engine with 450 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque, impressive specs for a car of its time. The Chevelle quickly became the face of Chevrolet and you rarely heard about Chevy without also hearing about the Chevelle.
Chevrolet Corvette
The Chevrolet Corvette still remains a household name among muscle car enthusiasts. The first ever Chevrolet Corvette was introduced in 1953 as a concept car at the New York Auto Show. The first generation Corvette was only available as a convertible, but later models could be purchased in a coupe design. It was equipped with a 4.34-liter V-8 engine.
Chevrolet made many changes and released many new designs over the years. The Corvette went on to become one of the most-sold muscle cars in history, with Chevrolet still releasing new Corvette models to this day.
2019 Chevrolet Corvette
That brings us to one of the coolest muscles cars of today, the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette. The Corvette has come a long way since it was first released and is today built with a 6.2-liter V-8 engine with 460 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque and goes from 0-60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. The engine is paired with a seven-speed manual or an eight-speed paddle shift automatic transmission.
Similar to previous generations of the Corvette, you can still purchase it in either a coupe or convertible body style. Modern-day designs including a hood air extractor, rear intake vents, and bi-xenon high-intensity daytime lights. The newest Corvette offers performance that drivers are sure to be talking about for years to come.
Chevrolet has a long history of exceptional muscle cars. Come by Lindsay Chevrolet today to check out the iconic Chevrolet Corvette for yourself.

4 Best Features of the 2020 Chevy Silverado HD

The 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD has already earned a reputation as one of the strongest and most capable trucks and it has not yet even been released. These are just a few of the most impressive features that you can expect from this record-breaking truck.
Exceptional Power
The power capabilities are one of the most talked about features of the 2020 Silverado HD. It will come equipped standard with a brand-new 6.6-liter V-8 engine on a six-speed automatic transmission. This offers 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque. For additional power, drivers can also upgrade to an available Duramax 6.6-liter turbo-diesel V-8 engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This boasts an impressive 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque.
A capable truck should also have the ability to tow heavy loads with no problem. The 2020 Silverado will not disappoint with a maximum towing capacity of 35,500-pounds. Towing will also be easier than ever with the advanced truck tailoring system. This feature allows you to view up to 15 different exterior angles on a 360-degree camera system for easier hitching.
Increased Productivity
Whether you choose to use your 2020 Silverado for business, pleasure, or both, a functional truck bed is important for productivity. The 2020 Chevy Silverado HD promises a fully functioning truck bed with 12 different tie-downs, LED cargo lighting, and an included 120-volt outlet. A four-step sidestep that runs along the truck bed will make it easier to access your truck’s contents. Exterior tow mirrors will also help to increase overall visibility when towing larger items.
Brand-New Exterior Design
Chevrolet designed the 2020 Silverado with a brand-new design in order to set it apart from previous Silverado models. In fact, the roof is the only element that is borrowed from its predecessors. Every detail of the Silverado is new including its size, the truck bed, and even the front end grille. The redesigned grille is made with larger metal rails that give it a modernly bold look.
The available customizations of the Chevy Silverado are endless. 2020 Silverado drivers will be able to customize their truck to meet their individual needs with either a two-door model or a six-wheeled work truck. In fact, drivers will be able to choose from over 22 cab, truck bed, and drivetrain combinations. Some critics have questioned the manufacturer’s decision to move away from the traditional Chevrolet Silverado truck design, but keep in mind, this truck is built for power and performance, not style.
Comfortable Interior
We don’t know much about the interior of the 2020 Silverado yet. But from what we do know, it will be spacious and adorned with high-quality leather materials. We can expect to see it equipped with the latest technological features as well.
The specs of the upcoming 2020 Chevy Silverado will make it a leader in the truck industry. We expect the Silverado to officially go on sale by the summer of 2019. In the meantime, come by Lindsay Chevrolet today to check out the current 2019 inventory of Chevrolet trucks.

Our team at Lindsay Chevrolet can’t get enough of the 2019 Corvettes. Here are some of the features that make this car one of the most unforgettable.
Different Strokes for Different Folks
The Corvette comes in many shapes and sizes to fit the experience level and wallet size of many. Between the Corvette Stingray, which is the most affordable option, the Corvette Grand Sport, the Z06, and the top-of-the-line ZR1, there’s a Corvette for everyone. Each type of Corvette comes in three trim levels, each building upon the features of the last — except the ZR1, which has one trim. With so many options, you can easily find the Corvette that best fits you and your style.
White-Knuckle Power
Yes, Corvettes are stylish. But when you’re on that long stretch of track, style falls to the wayside as the Corvette’s true power takes over. Even at the Corvette’s weakest, it packs a 6.2-liter V-8 engine that delivers 460 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque, which are not numbers to scoff at. The Grand Sport packs the same punch, but the Z06 ups that power by over almost 200 horses. It gets up to 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque from its supercharged aluminum V-8 engine.
But if it’s an unadulterated performance you’re looking for, the ZR1 is your new best friend. It has an available 755 horsepower and 715 pound-feet of torque from a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine. This is more than the top level of most, if not all, muscle cars and performance cars on the market. This is the kind of car you don’t tell your mother you’re driving. Let’s just put it this way — the ZR1 comes standard with two days of driving school to teach you how to handle it.
Race Car Luxury
The show doesn’t stop on the outside. Once you slide into the driver’s bucket seat, you’ll experience a whole new you. The Corvette’s cabin is more cockpit than anything, with performance-minded controls, displays, and slick fascia. Upgrade to the napa leather seats to up the luxury factor, or go with the convertible top to make every street feel like your personal playground. One of the greatest things about the 2019 Equinox is that it allows you to create the best crossover for you and your lifestyle. Its high level of customization makes sure that your Equinox fits you and not the other way around.
It starts with the trim levels: the L, LS, LT, and Premier. Each adds to the already impressive list of features of the last. Give your Equinox an exterior paint color that matches your personality — an unheard-of 13 choices of colors are available. Pick front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and from one of the three engines. Then, equip your Equinox with available packages. The Chevrolet Infotainment System 3 lets you turn your Equinox into another smart device. The teen driver technology lets you breathe easy by tracking how your young one is driving. These and the many other technological perks are why the Equinox is the smartest of the smart cars.
Raw Power
The standard 1.5-liter engine ensures your Equinox always has a great and smooth ride. It’s a game-changer at the gas pumps, too — it delivers a 32 mpg rating.
But if you’re looking for raw power in a surprising package, consider the available 2.0-liter turbo engine or the 1.6-liter turbodiesel engine. The first lets you add some serious towing capability to your Equinox — up to 3,500 pounds, thanks to its 252 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. If you opt for the diesel engine, you can see a jump in fuel economy to 39 mpg. The engine options make good on the promise that there’s an Equinox for everyone and every lifestyle.
Safety First
When you’re shopping for a crossover, safety should be at the forefront of your mind. The 2019 Equinox comes equipped with the standard array of trusty safety features, but it’s the modern technological ones that are worth writing home about.
Just a few of the great safety features include low-speed forward automatic braking, lane keep assist, forward collision alert, adaptive cruise control, and more. These are just a handful of the ways Chevrolet keeps you and your family safe.
