Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2019 Chevy Camaro comes in a whopping seven different trim levels. At the base level, you have the 1LS trim. This is followed by the 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT trims, which progress to the performance-oriented 1SS and 2SS trim levels, with the ZL1 at the top of the line.
The new fascia and design cues create a more aggressive and muscular profile than ever. Most trims come standard with 18-inch alloy wheels and LED running lights. Starting at the 3LT level you can add a package that gives you LED taillights and 20-inch wheels with a special grille and back spoiler. The 20-inch wheels also come standard at the 1SS level, but the ZL1 Extreme Track Performance Package comes with 19-inch forged aluminum wheels and beefier, wider tires for extra grip.

Engine (Power)
The standard engine on LS and LT models is a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder. It nets you 275 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. You can optionally upgrade to a 3.6-liter V-6, however, which produces 335 horses and 284 pound-feet. The V-6 is standard starting at the 3LT trim. Finally, starting at the 1SS level, you'll get a 6.2-liter V-8 engine that delivers 455 horsepower and is backed up by 455 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
As a muscle car, performance is key to the Camaro. The base engine is matched to a six-speed manual transmission or an optional eight-speed automatic. The V-8 engine comes with a rev-matching downshift manual or an optional 10-speed automatic. With the full suite of features and options in play, you'll get heavy-duty Brembo brakes, performance suspension, limited-slip differential, adaptive suspension dampers, performance exhaust, and more.
Interior
As much as it values performance, Chevy didn't skimp on comfort or technology. You can add a multitude of configurations and options, but even at the base level you'll get Bluetooth, OnStar with 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot, touch screen interface, and full smartphone integration. Satellite radio, paddle-shifters, Bose audio, wireless device charging, and other options are also available.
The seats are firm, yet offer great support for long drives, and the suspension does a fantastic job at keeping the ride smooth. Interior materials are high quality and strong, with available leather upholstery adding a touch of luxury.

Safety Features
A full suite of safety features are available, including emergency telematics via OnStar, auto dim mirrors, parking sensors in the rear, cross-traffic alerts, blind spot monitoring, and front crash warning.
